Pre-Fall Favorites

How can I possibly think of Fall and coats and boats when it's about a million degrees out you ask?? Well, the Fall fashion, of course! For Fall, I'm coveting a great throw on, open coat like the shearling one or the gorgeous Giada Forte knit jacket below. I also love light neutrals in camel, cream and light gray along with best in class plaid. What are you looking to add to your Fall wardrobe?

Leather Jackets for Spring

Leather isn't just for Fall and Winter anymore. I've seen a ton of "Spring" leather and suede and I am loving it. So much so that I had to get the IRO light blue leather jacket below... Just had to. The blush and spring green ones are also adorable.

Designer Crush: Mackage

Finding a cute winter coat is sometimes a struggle, especially one that is unique. I have recently been favoriting a ton of shopbop newcomer Mackage's jackets. They are adorable and look like they would be super flattering. If you are in the market for a new jacket, definitely check them out. While they are a bit on the pricey side, they have classic silhouettes that you will wear and love forever. I love the ones with fur details and the ones that cinch at the waist. The Canadian company also makes leather jackets that I have had my eye on. If I hadddd to choose just one, I would pick the black Cornelia leather sleaved one. Love love love.

P.S. Shopbop only has a small selection on their fabulous collection. Check out their website for more styles.

Mid-Summer Wishlist

It's all about transitional pieces this late in the summer as pre-fall is out and we're starting to see sneak peaks of fall collections which are certainly getting me excited for the leaves to turn! Some items on my wishlist:

*Images from Shopbop.com, Saks.com and Julievos.com

1. A drapey blouse -  the kind of shirt you don't think to buy but then have and wear forever. This AIR by Alice + Olivia blouse comes in black and tan. I prefer black

2. A transitional long dress - to dress up or down. I love this Rory Beca navy beauty.

3. A relaxed leather and jersey jacket - I've been searching for the perfect black leather jacket that doesn't look too "biker chick" and this one just might be the one for me. If only it wasn't $800... Helmut Lang just does it for me.

4. Gold coin pendant necklace- my grandmother, Mimi,  had an old coin of hers put on a gold chain and it looks good with everythingggg. This one by Julie Vos won't cost you an arm and leg and is super cute. I'm guilty of purchasing it...

5. A bright printed dress in a girly silhouette. This Nicholas one fits the bill and how cute is it with those neon strappy heels??

6. A transitional scarf - because you can never have too many and this print and color are so cute.

7. Strappy tribal sandals - These Rachel Roy ones are so fun

8. Perfect bag - I thought my cravings for this Chloe Marcie bag would go away after I got the Philip Lim Pashli satchel but they haven't. They're back and stronger than ever for fall!!

2013 Ultimate Wishlist

When the Poweball hit $500 million, I couldn't help but think of all of the things I would do with the winning money. I obviously thought of trips and real estate but then I got to thinking about the absurd shopping spree I'd go on. When I didn't end up winning the lottery (shocking, I know), there were still a few things in my mind that I decided I wanted. Below is my ultimate 2013 wishlist. Obviously, I'd throw in a few more luxe items if I know the full half billion but these are a few things that are actually attainable for a normal person who doesn't win the lottery. Here's to hoping I don't break the bank!
