Peter Pilotto for Target

I am obsessed with Peter Pilotto. Every time Net-a-porter puts up new colorful, printed PP dresses I swoooon at my computer. I am sort of freaking out over this collection for Target. Everything is so cute - I literally want every piece. I've never camped out for a launch of something but there's a first time for everything... Comes out February 9th. Did I mention everything is inexpensive?? Target people..!!

Etsy Favorites 1.30.14

I adore Etsy for home goods, beautiful cards and unique finds. Below are some of my favorite things on the site for sale right now. I am obsessed with the globe and the vintage suitcases. I also really want a juju hat for my apartment and love that a bunch of Etsy shops use fun fabrics for pillows like Kelly Wearstler's confetti print.

Hermes Blanket

Hermes blankets are the ultimate luxury. Hanging in the corner of some of my favorite rooms, they seem to add a little pop in no matter the color. While the price tag is steep, it's one of those collectors pieces that you'll have forever and can use in any room of the house (or even outdoors). And because I'm such a neutrals girl, the navy, gray and tan blankets really call me name.

Brass Accents

I love the look of brass in the home. Whether it's a small accent, like a pull or a handle, or it's a pendant that makes a bigger statement, brass looks refined and different. My parent are currently drawing up plans for a new house and I know my mom is looking at brass accents especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. I sent her a picture of Sarah Sherman Samuel's (from Smitten Studio) new kitchen and we were lovingggg her brass faucet and pendants. P.S. I would kill for any of Kelly Wearstler's brass pieces...

Natural Skin Care

Don't new skin care products make you so excited?? This year I'm dedicated to using more organic and natural products so that I can feel good about everything I'm putting on my skin. If I'm going to worry about what chemicals I put in my body, (2014 I am dedicated to being more health conscious!), I should also pay attention to what chemicals I put on my sensitive skin. A couple of my favorite natural brands include Tammy Fender, Tracie Martyn and Tata Harper. Do you use natural/organic products? Below are some that I've either personally tried and loved or have heard great things about.

Farmaesthetics
Favorite Product: Facial to Go Kit

Dr. Haushka
Favorite Product:  Soothing Mask MI

Tammy Fender* (My favorite natural brand)
Favorite Product: Tie between Intensive Repair Balm (some people think it's better than La Mer) and the Sensitive Skin Travel Kit (so you can try out six products)

Tracie Martyn
Favorite Product: Enzyme Exfoliant (gentle yet effective - love love this exfoliant)

Tata Harper
Favorite Product: Rejuvenating Serum (makes skin so soft)

Korres
Favorite Product: Tie between Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial and the Quince Lip Butter (one of my all time faves)

Caudalie
Favorite Product: Premier Cru Eye Cream (makes you look like you've had 12 hours of sleep)

Favorite California Coastal House

I was flipping through a particularly amazing issue of Elle Decor this summer and stumbled upon one of my favorite houses to date. A Pacific Coast stunner with jaw-dropping views of the ocean from every room had me practically drooling. Add in a wonderful color palette, a gorgeous outdoor area and a built-in bunk room and the house had me hooked. The Dana Point, California home was designed by Bob White of Forest Studio for a couple who, after 30  years of living in a different Cali town, wanted a change and wanted that change to include sweeping views of the ocean. The Mediterranean style home had to be completely gutted and they ran into several issues with the local review boards. The couple turned to Mary Lynn Turner and her daughter/ partner, Marie Turner Carson of M.Elle Design to do the interior. I love light hardwood floors, exposed beams and bright pops of color.Check it out below. Swoon!

By the way, Mary Lynn Turner is the genius behind the below stunner. Yeah, she's good...
