Shooting Star Cabin Interiors - Jackson Hole, Wyoming

If you haven't been to Jackson Hole, Wyoming yet, put it on your bucket list of places to go before you die. I'm fortunate enough to have visited my grandparents, who live out there half of the year, in both the winter and summer and have to say it is magical. It has that real old west feel. In the winter, it's the most fun place I've ever skiied. It's not as much of a "scene" as Aspen and I adore the cozy restaurants and shops in town. In the summer, hiking and fishing and wildlife are all around. The activities are plentiful and there are awesome spas for afterwards. 

Most of the decor I've seen in homes, hotels and stores in Jackson Hole is very western with lots of wood, stone, reds and plaids. Don't get me wrong, I love the rustic feel, but after seeing the pictures of Shooting Star Cabin, I fell in love with the look of soothing hues with a backdrop of lake and mountain views.  If I ever win the lottery I will buy a house exactly like Shooting Star Cabin in J Hole. It's to die for. Decorated by Jane Schwab, who is an amazingly talented interior designer for Circa Interiors, the cabin (if you can call it that) is my cup of tea.

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger are literally the most stylish, adorable, lovable Hollywood couple around. I love Diane's fashion on its own but Joshua's superb sense of style helps the duo stand out. Here are a few of my favorite looks.

Spring Shoes 2013

I'm obsessed with allll of these shoes but unfortunately can't get them all (I wish)! I got the J. Crew dusty rose pink pumps with the gray snake skin bow and am so excited to wear them. I could also see myself getting the Michael Kors nude T-strap pump...because I need them, right?? Such a staple! And slims your legs! I also adore the hot pink bottoms and unique design of the Suecomma Bonnie's (bottom left) . And who can say no to the perforated tan Rag and Bone booties....

Bright and colorful pillows can change a room. Whether it's a statement pillow on a bed or throw pillows on a couch, one pop of color is sometimes all a room needs. Mix and max fabrics, colors and patterns for a fresh look. Etsy is an amazing place to find inexpensive pillow covers. I got my navy ikat pillow for my bed there and adore it.

Hi everyone! I haven't done an update in a while because things have been really crazy. I was in Raleigh two weekends ago visting Riley and I even got to have lunch with my good friend, Ryan, from Cornell. You can't tell from the pictures but it was gorgeous out (something I wish I could say about the NY weather...). I even found some gluten free beer at the restaurant we went to so it was a real success! Yay for not breaking my Lent!

The weekend before that I had a bunch of friends in town and we had dinner at an awesome Japanese steakhouse. Later that night I went to the Hark society charity event, which was really fun. I ran into a ton of old friends from high school and had a ball.

I'm off to Raleigh this weekend and then Toronto, Chicago and Boston the next three! I'm going to Toronto to see my college roommate, Lauren, Chicago for a girls weekend and Boston for my sister, Tory's, 21st birthday. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Colorful Headboards

I love the look of colorful headboards. Whether solid colors or patterned, headboard looks so chic in bold colors. I have an oatmeal colored one with nailheads but I'm thinking of switching it up. The key to pulling off this look is to work with your paint color and your bed linens (although, I have seen some crazy pattern on pattern looks that look fab!). Below are some of my favorites.
