Slim Aarons is one of my favorite photographers who shot jetsetters, socialites and celebrities. He never used a stylist or makeup artist and had a knack for capturing people in their true surroundings. He told Town and Country, "I knew everyone. They would invite me to one of their parties because they knew I wouldn't hurt them. I was one of them." His career spanned over five decades and he shot people like Jimmy Stewart, Katherine Hepburn, socialite C.Z. Guest, Jackie Onassis, and Marilyn Monroe. His photos are iconic. I would absolutely die to have one of his prints. Below are some of my favorite pieces shot by Mr. Aarons.
