Club Monaco Spring Picks

Club Monaco does it again. Every time I walk into that store I have to bring something home with me. This time is was the Weylie crop sweater top in both white and gray. It's the perfect crop knit with high waisted jeans or a skirt. They've got a ridiculously cute pair of cashmere shorts that I have my eye on plus their Shoshanna bathing suit is pretty spot on for summer. Looks like the crop top trend is here to stay. Below are a few of my favorites for spring. I've been obsessed with baby blue recently so may have to get one of the blue options below. Also love love love the off the shoulder ones.

Trench Coat and Linen Skirt

Hi everyone! I promised I would do some outfits of the day (#ootd) so here is my first ever! This was the perfect Easter outfit and I am obsessed with my trench! I had been wanting desperately to get the Burberry trench coat but when I saw this Club Monaco one at a fraction of the price and it is so cute and such a great material, I stopped thinking about the Burberry one. The skirt is linen and has a light chambray look. I went into Joie and tried on a bunch of things but I couldn't walk away without that baby. Let me know what you guys think of ootd's being a regular occurrence!

Striped Tees

Just got those Rag + Bone booties and I'm obsessed. Love the sleeveless Vince top in the middle and will probablyyy need to get the Warby Parker sunglasses... Winter White

Winter White is one of my favorite trends this season and I hate to admit it BUT Kim Kardashian is one of the celebrities that is really pulling it off... Pair a high-waisted white pencil skirt with a long sleeved white crop top or wear white jeans after labor day with a chunky sweater or if you live in a warmer climate, try a white drapey blazer with a cool mini. Add in chunky heels in black or metallic and a little jewelry and you're good to go.

Crop Tops and High-Waisted Skirts

So I'm not a huge fan of crop tops. I think this probably stemmed from my little sister showing me Facebook photos of high schoolers running around in neon crop tops (or sports bras) and tiny shorts or spandex at techno concerts. While most of them have "high school bodies" (may mine RIP..), the look just isn't very cute/flattering, etc. A new trend I can get behind, though, is crop tops with high-waisted skirts. I've seen some adorable full/midi/high-waisted skirts with crop tops that show just a hint of skin. I recently purchased a crop top from Asos but am yet to wear it because I need to find the perfect skirt. Any ideas??
