Designer to Know: Holly Fulton

I recently discovered designer Holly Fulton while browsing the new arrivals section on Net-a-porter and decided to check out the rest of her collection. I can't believe it took me this long to find this incredible designer! I seem to gravitate towards British designers so I wasn't that surprised to hear that she was not American. I am loving the retro flair and beautiful silhouettes in her collection.  Fulton has a really old school approach to designing and loves using "graphic print, luxurious materials and hot accessories." Lilly Pulitzer

Lilly Pulitzer, who made the classic shift dress a preppy staple, passed away yesterday. Pulitzer began designing in 1959 and her colorful prints are recognized worldwide. Lilly dresses are passed down from generation to generation. I have some awesome retro dresses my mom wore in high school and if I have daughters, they have quite the collection already. In honor of her legacy, I picked some of my favorite looks and, if you haven't already, check out the newly launched Lilly Pulitzer home.
