Apartment Inspiration

We're getting so close to finishing decorating our apartment with the rug going down yesterday in the living room and our living room table arriving but we still have some work to do on the décor end. Tory loves fur pelts and leather and rustic elements and I am drawn to more classic, clean elements (white...) but our styles coming together look quirky and so us. I don't want to give any sneak peaks yet because I think you will all love the photos when the whole thing is finished. We also have an outdoor space that we have no idea what to do with but we're excited to brainstorm! Below is some inspiration we've been using - my apologies for being so design heavy on the blog recently, I've got home décor on the brain!

Apartment Inspiration

As I've mentioned about a thousand times, I'm moving to the West Coast and after a few months of shackin' up at home, I'm pretty excited to get my decorating on again! Below are some dream apartment inspirations that are by far better looking than my apartment/house will ever be but I pride myself on bargain hunting so you never know...

Yes, I read Canadian home magazine (who doesn't??) This was in the last issue of H+H and the blue and white motif covered the whole house. I was sort of obsessed.

Sofia Coppola is sooo chic. I remember seeing this spread years ago - she was wayyy ahead of the wishbone chair trend. Of course she was. Another great sectional.

Gallery Wall

The walls in my apartment are stark white which I can not handle. While I've started to fill them with different things (a mirror, two 20x200 photographs above my bed), I've always wanted to create a gallery wall. I love the look of different colored frames in different arrangements or an all gold neatly organized arrangement. You can create one in any room (bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom...) and can add in other decorative objects besides frames like canvases antlers, etc.Mix in maps, landscapes, family photos, architectural prints and  abstracts. Below are some of my faves from pinterest.
