Overstock.com is not a website most people would think of to buy trendy furniture and home décor (and a slew of other things!) but the site has been a lifesaver for purchases Tory and I have needed in our apartment. Not to mention at a fraction of the price of other retailers... Tory was looking for a desk similar to the West Elm Parsons desk and we found an almost identical one that was $300 less. An absolute steal! I was looking for a vanity/desk for my room and found the perfect one. They have gorgeous jute rugs, x benches, bar stools and their headboards are awesome. We even got a set of my absolute favorite wishbone chairs for half off. I'm sold...Tory and I are almost all settled in and I can't wait to show you pictures of the finished apartment in the next week or so. Have a great weekend! xo

Apartment Inspiration
As I've mentioned about a thousand times, I'm moving to the West Coast and after a few months of shackin' up at home, I'm pretty excited to get my decorating on again! Below are some dream apartment inspirations that are by far better looking than my apartment/house will ever be but I pride myself on bargain hunting so you never know...
Love this crisp white bedding and matching lamps
source unknown
Colorful and love that rug
Talk about window treatments - I'm a sucker for a good sectional and bar cart, too!
Matching stools at the end of the bed are a must
Gallery wall! and snake skin coffee tables! and colorful throw pillows!
Those chairs are to die for - and look so comfy
Loveee bamboo shades, those periwinkle lamps and sheepskin
Another teal couch that I adore - the gold accents also help - and the rug and the sheepskin...
This West Hollywood stunner was in the last HB. Quaint and pink and perfect.
via House Beautiful
Yes, I read Canadian home magazine (who doesn't??) This was in the last issue of H+H and the blue and white motif covered the whole house. I was sort of obsessed.
via House and Home magazine
A well curated bar cart is a must!
Another blue couch - I think we're trending! Love that hanging swing, too.
source unknown (I know I saw this in a magazine - perhaps House Beautiful?? maybe Lonny?)
That will be me with my gorge fireplace and perfectly appointed living room : )
Sofia Coppola is sooo chic. I remember seeing this spread years ago - she was wayyy ahead of the wishbone chair trend. Of course she was. Another great sectional.
source unknown
A totally do-able bedroom
I love the double rug look and the sheepskin on the chairs
mhmm yep - I'll take all of this. Ultimate Cali pad
I can't have a teal couch anddd headboard - can I??

Target Home: Threshold
I've always been a huge fan of Target. I've always been a huge fan of budget home decor finds. Finally, Target has started making things for the home that I actually like! Once they started their collaborations with brands like Shabby Chic and people like Nate Berkus, I knew they were headed in the right direction.
The newest collection of affordable and adorable home products for Target is called Threshold and they have everything from poufs to pillows to accent tables to picture frames. They're right on trend with gold accents and even have an adorable nail head headboard. Below are some of my favorite (and affordable!) pieces.

Twice as Nice
My sister, Tory, and I shared a room for a few years and we had the most adorable white wrought iron twin beds with raspberry toile duvets and cute matching bedding. Although the room sharing was short lived, I had twin beds until I was a teenager and have always loved the look in a bedroom. After parting ways with Tory, I had a green theme with antique wooden twin and I definitely plan on stealing back the white wrought iron beds when I have kids (heads up, Tory...) I love the funky/colorful headboards below and also the look of the faux deer heads above the beds. Is that weird?? They're randomly featured in three of the bedrooms below.
