I was flipping through a particularly amazing issue of Elle Decor this summer and stumbled upon one of my favorite houses to date. A Pacific Coast stunner with jaw-dropping views of the ocean from every room had me practically drooling. Add in a wonderful color palette, a gorgeous outdoor area and a built-in bunk room and the house had me hooked. The Dana Point, California home was designed by Bob White of Forest Studio for a couple who, after 30 years of living in a different Cali town, wanted a change and wanted that change to include sweeping views of the ocean. The Mediterranean style home had to be completely gutted and they ran into several issues with the local review boards. The couple turned to Mary Lynn Turner and her daughter/ partner, Marie Turner Carson of M.Elle Design to do the interior. I love light hardwood floors, exposed beams and bright pops of color.Check it out below. Swoon!
