Unique Wedding Gifts
It's officially wedding season and that means lots of travel and lots of gifts. If you're like me, you hate getting the same old things and want to make your gift stand out. While it's always safe and encouraged to buy off the registry, below are a few unique and thoughtful gifts for the couple to be. Favorites include Moscow mule mugs with the couple's initials, trays, log carriers (all with name/monogram, of course) and I've given the beautiful custom cutting board twice. You can pick the custom details you want like initials, wedding date and even get it in the shape of a state. I also like things like wine of the month club or plated - what newly married couple doesn't like cooking together and drinking wine??

White Jeans
I have always pushed the envelope with white pants. White pants season seemed to creep farther into the fall and earlier into the spring. Now that I'm in LA though, it is a yearlong free for all. Ever heard of winter white?? Plus, guys love them and girls look great in them!
Kidding aside, it's essential that you find a pair that is right for you and sizing and stretch are key. My absolute favorite pair are the J Brand 811 midrise skinnies but I hear Frame denim has a great pair that is very similar. I'm looking into getting the J Brand Love Story flares but I have that short leg thing and don't want to get them hemmed and boom they're boot cut. Side note - can denim companies start making flared jeans in petite sizes?? I promise we will buy them more than the boot cut versions (insert praying emoji here). I digress, below are a few outfits to go with this seasonal favorite. P.S. - Yes, Jeff and Riley, I am writing a whole post on white pants!

Favorite New Brand: Reformation
I have a new favorite brand and it's turned into a full blown obsession. Reformation, founded in 2009, uses sustainable fabrics and believe that beautiful styles can be made from eco friendly materials. Their petite line is also ridiculously cute and fits me like a glove - I recently bought the most adorable jumpsuit that is the MOST flattering, which is hard to find for a 5 foot 4 gal. They have flirty dresses and tops and skirts and jumpsuits. I recently bought the scalloped suede skirt below and can't wait for it to arrive. MDS Stripes
Half of my closet is stripes. This is not an exaggeration. You can take the East Coast girl out of the East Coast... well, you know how it goes. When I found out Mark D Sikes was doing a line, aptly named MDS Stripes, I sort of freaked. The beachy, preppy and fun line features dresses, tops, skirts, short shorts and even made to order maxi skirts in, of course, navy and white stripes. My favorites?
