Memorial Day Weekend and the "Super Elixir"

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was in Wilmington, NC for our friends', Bobby and Sarah's, wedding. It was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. It was a great weekend!

The great weather has continued in Greenwich, where I am spending Memorial Day, and where I plan on eating at least two lobsters and a soft shell crab at the Field Club's annual cook out. My favorite! Now that I mention my glutenous diet, I should probably mention that our diet starts tomorrow. Translation - after a mandatory vodka southside and trying every food the dinner buffet has to offer, I will try to tone it down tomorrow.

I recently ordered, and am anxiously awaiting, Elle Macpherson's new Super Elixir, a supplement that Elle herself developed with a doctor and puts in her smoothies every morning It's all-natural and she credits it with making her look and feel good. Now, I don't know if you've seen Elle Macpherson lately but it wouldn't matter since she looks just like she did 25 years ago (hence my purchase of the Super Elixir). Artist of the Day: Donald "Drawbertson" Robertson

I have been seeing some really cool prints around pinterest and did a little digging to find out about the artist. Donald Robertson ("Drawbertson" - get it??) is the head of Creative Development at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and was one of the three original founders of MAC cosmetics. The best part about his drawings, doodles and collages is that he uses light-hearted subject matter and they're fun and colorful. Many feature pop culture moments and are very fashion-forward. I would love to snag one of these gorgeous prints. Below are a few of my favorites.

Cocktail of the Day: Tennessee Honey Storm

I'm not huge into whiskey but JD's honey whiskey is so so good. The "Tennessee Honey Storm" is the perfect summer drink. My uncle Bill introduced us to these amazing cocktails and got us these awesome ice ball molds that make huge ice balls that keep your drink cold all night. We had cocktails over at the finished cottage on John Street (the property that my parents are working on) and had a blast. Be careful because the Honey Storm is so smooth you may be on number 5 before you know it! Not that I know from experience!
