Chinese Chippendale Chairs

I loveeee Chinese chippendale chairs especially in the kitchen and dining room or used as a chic desk chair. It's so fun that they come in different colors and can be customized to have different fabric for the seats. While new versions can be expensive (a Jonathan Adler chippendale chair will cost you north of $600 for one...), they can often be found at tag sales, thrift shops and antique stores and restored to be current and fun. Kitchen Bar stools

After 7 years of living in their house, my parents (let's be serious, my mom) are just getting around to doing some decorating in the family room and kitchen. After re-doing the kitchen earlier this year, it's time for some new bar stools. My mom asked for some ideas so naturally I turned to Pinterest for a little inspiration.The kitchen is all white with black granite counter tops and the family room is being done in blue tones and neutrals. I prefer stools with backs but I do love the look of backless ones. Any ideas? Any favorites?
