Peter Pilotto for Target

I am obsessed with Peter Pilotto. Every time Net-a-porter puts up new colorful, printed PP dresses I swoooon at my computer. I am sort of freaking out over this collection for Target. Everything is so cute - I literally want every piece. I've never camped out for a launch of something but there's a first time for everything... Comes out February 9th. Did I mention everything is inexpensive?? Target people..!!

Etsy Favorites 8.5.13

I love Etsy but you really have to search to find the good stuff. In the past I've found great vintage furniture, cool art prints, unique gifts and the list goes on! Gallery Walls and Art

I have a couple of friends that just graduated and were asking me what to adorn their new apartment walls with and where to find inexpensive/cool prints. My go-to art site, 20x200.com, where I bought two pieces that hang above my bed, is no longer up and running (sad!) but there are a lots of alternatives. Although Etsy can be daunting, there are some amazing and unique pieces on there. Minted.com is another good option, as is Pinterest. My newest project (even though I'm moving out of my current apartment in 2 months) is to create a gallery wall. They really make a room look so finished and chic. The best gallery walls combine art, photos and other objects like mirrors. Below is some of my inspiration.

All About Citrus

Citrus motifs and colors have been popping up everywhere this summer from bright yellow to different shades of orange and pink. Where them together or with neutrals for a fun and bright look in this hot weather. Whether in the home or on the catwalk, I've always lovedddd citrus colors (well, any color for that matter.. I just happen to be a color girl). How do you wear your citrus colors?

Art of the Day: Cozamia

One thing that I really miss about high school is art class. Throughout high school I was able to have the best materials and guidance at my fingertips and adored creating a portfolio that was a mix of photography and painting/mixed media/digital. I'm always searching the internet for cool and inexpensive pieces for my gallery wall and for my friends. Enter my Cozamia obsession. I literally want every piece starting with the darling flamingo print. I don't see how I will possibly fit all of these pieces in my less than 800 square foot apartment but I'm going to damn well try!

Favorite Etsy Prints of the Week

Artwork can really make or break the feel of a room but in today's world it can be very expensive. If you don't want to buy the generic art they're selling at Target or Ikea, Etsy offers a plethora of inexpensive options that can give you a unique and luxe feel. Below are some of my most recent favorites. I've found that you really have to search around on Etsy to find stuff you like. A helpful hint is to go to one of your friend's "favorites" and look at who follows one of their hearts and then look at that person's favorites and so on.
