Designer Crush of the Day: Lucas Studio Inc.

Joe Lucas and Parrish Chilcoat, the duo behind Lucas Studio Inc., met while working for Los Angeles interior designer, Michael Smith. They have completed projects all around the US and I am obsessed with their classic and clean style. I first noticed Lucas Studio Inc. after reading an issue in House Beautiful that featured the most gorgeous bachelor pad I've ever seen. Designer Crush of the Day: Sara Ruffin Costello

My friend, Sara, introduced me to the work of Sara Ruffin Costello and I was literally giddy looking at her stuff. When I found out she was the founding creative director at Domino I immediately knew why I was so drawn to her interiors. She manages to make spaces look elegant, laid back and lived in, all at the same time, while giving a space that "finished" look. She also loves fireplaces and restoration. She recently designed a downtown NYC bachelor pad that gives a whole new meaning to bachelor pad because I would literally move in exactly as is... She and her family moved to New Orleans from NYC and updated a gorgeous old home there. She also contributes to House Beautiful, Vogue, the WSJ and was in a commercial for Target for their Threshold line, which she helps design. Need I say more? The pictures should speak for themselves...
