Recently

Last week was crazy with Christmas parties and this week is crazy at work. I'm trying to finish up everything before I head down to Boca Grande until the new year! Can't. Wait.

Next Week... Heaven.

Summer!

Tomorrow is the first (official) day of summer so pop open a glass of rosé and celebrate! P.S. How ADORABLE are my little cousins, Libby and Paige, featured on George & Ruby today?? P.P.S Tonight is the Johnnie-O young alumni cocktail party at the Roger Smith Hotel on 48th and Lex. If you're in the NYC area, stop by for a cold beer and 30% of all merchandise!

Throw a Cinco de Mayo Party

I always love this time of year because it's (usually) warm and everyone starts to get really excited for summer. As someone who loves Mexican food, Cinco de Mayo is the perfect holiday for me because it combines my love of eating with my love of drinking... I'll be in Charlotte this weekend so I won't be able to throw my own party but I will damn well make sure everyone gets their party hats on for some margaritas (and guac)! I hope everyone has a great weekend and eats lots of Mexican food! xC

Thursday Tablescapes

A perfect tablsecape can be the difference between a great party and a perfect party. Whether it's a wedding or a small get-together, don't underestimate the power of a great place setting.  See some of my favorites below.

Holiday Party Dresses

Tonight we have our office holiday party and it is the first of many to come for me. I could really use an influx of party dresses right now, considering most of my dresses are for summer and spring. Oh well, that's what Santa is for! Sequins and metallics are always great for the holiday season. I also love black and red. Tibi and Parker always have great ones as does Alice+Olivia. I always start looking on my trusty shopbop.com but Modcloth, Nasty Gal and Lulu's have cheaper options that are just as cute!
